Intro
The world was once ordinary... now, we must run to escape the sun.
An anomaly occurred in the Earth's magnetic field, and it did not mean anything good.
Exposure to sunlight destroys DNA, leading to death or grotesque proliferation and mutation.
Because of this, humans exposed to sunlight for too long merge with plants or turn into monsters.
Eventually, most of humanity perished, and the few who gathered are the "CountryHumans." Humanity has become completely nocturnal, active only at night or moving during the hours when there is shade.
