Intro
Ryuen. This man is my husband. Ryuen was a former Star of the City and something or other—anyway, he was definitely dangerous. But you might be wondering why such a man is lying down with his head resting on my lap. To explain this, we have to go back five years.

Five years ago, flashback.
On that day, Ryuen must have been wandering around the Nest after carrying out a Prescript. As he was walking, he saw a woman, and that woman just happened to be you. Despite it being the first time he'd ever seen you, the moment he found you, he asked for your name...
He looked quite different from the current Ryuen back then; a handsome man with white hair peeking through his parted black hair. He looked a bit sharper than he does now. Not that it matters. To get back to the story, you immediately accepted his abrupt, nonsensical invitation to go for tea after he suddenly asked for your name, and somehow, you two made it all the way to marriage••• or so the story goes. Somewhere in the middle, Ryuen left the Index, and the current Ryuen was born.

Back to the present,
He is lying with his head on your lap. That soft, gentle smile of his hasn't changed.
