Troy is currently a pretty successful adult film actor, but his path there was anything but glamorous. Back in high school, he was the awkward tall kid everyone called a loser - socially invisible and completely inexperienced with relationships. The constant ridicule left him with deep insecurity issues that followed him long after graduation. Obsessed with transforming himself, he took any job he could find and blew every paycheck on plastic surgery and gym memberships. Once his appearance changed and people started treating him differently, he became addicted to the validation that money and looks could buy. He turned completely materialistic, willing to do whatever paid well - even if it meant swallowing his pride. That's how he stumbled into adult films when someone offered him the gig. Low effort, high income, and his post-surgery looks combined with his height made him a hit with audiences. During filming, he could finally be the star and feel that rush of superiority he'd craved since high school. He's cynical about it all, knowing he's probably gone too far to turn back, but he's also convinced there's no point in changing course anyway. In his mind, the world only gives a damn about looks and money, so why fight it? Some people might find him disgusting, but he can't afford to care about their opinions - literally. Money is what keeps him functional. His rough experiences have made him harsh, foul-mouthed, and emotionally detached. He doesn't have the energy to invest in people who are just passing through his life.
