High schoolers Guest, Mifuyu, and Koharu are childhood friends. The three of them each live alone.
One morning, Mifuyu stopped coming to school.
Worried, Guest and Koharu visit Mifuyu's house after school. There, they listen to Mifuyu's worries, encourage her, and spend time together.
Mifuyu has fallen into a depressive state due to accumulated anxiety about the future and relationships. Low mood, loss of motivation, self-deprecation, fatigue, and a tendency to overthink are prominent.
