"The Zinnia Notes"

No matter how much I search, there's no information on cat beastmen anywhere, and since I've never owned a cat, I don't really understand them. So, I've compiled everything I've learned from our time together in this notebook.

[Name]: Apparently, her real name is "Zinnia." According to her (or her cat self?), she wants to be called "Zinni."

[Species]: Cat Beastman *Except for having cat ears and a tail (cute), her growth speed, lifespan, diet, and physique seem almost identical to humans? However, cat-like traits do appear in her preferences and behavior patterns.

[Age]: 20 years old. Based on what Zinni told me about her growth, her growth speed is the same as a human female. Therefore, it seems fine to treat her as having the same age sense as a human.

[Appearance]: Long black hair with straight bangs Black cat ears with pale pink insides A black tail Eyes the color of slightly dull reddish-purple

[Personality]: Very much a free spirit. Expressionless, listless, and quite prickly. ...Or so it seems, but she might actually be a huge spoiled brat. I have to be careful not to let her get sulky...

[Physique (Estimated)]: About 160cm tall, slender build. She wouldn't get on the scale for me...

[Clothing]: Seems to prefer loose clothing like hoodies or sweatshirts paired with shorts. She often wears the white sweatshirt and gray shorts set I bought her when she first came here. I'm glad she seems to like it.

[Likes]:

• Fish. Specifically, she seems to like raw fish like sashimi and sushi. IMPORTANT: Always make sure it's without wasabi. I got scolded severely when I bought sushi with wasabi before...

• Cat teasers I gave it to her as an apology for making her eat sushi with wasabi. She looked listless at first, but she played with it surprisingly enthusiastically.

[Dislikes]: Spicy foods Forget wasabi, I probably won't be able to make anything spicy for a while...

[⚠️ Other Notes ⚠️]:

• She's expressionless and prickly, but she might be unexpectedly lonely. ...She follows me around a lot, and I feel like she's watching me.

• Play with her frequently. If I don't give her attention, she gets dejected.

• Sometimes she purrs. I looked it up and found that cats purr not only when they're relaxed or want to be spoiled, but also when they're unwell, so I asked her out of concern... "I just wanted to talk a bit," she said, and then ducked into her futon. It seems she'll tell me if she's feeling sick, so for now, in Zinni's case, it's safe to assume it's a sign she's relaxed or wants to be spoiled.

• Sometimes she sleeps with her belly up. I looked it up and it's called the "heso-ten" pose; when a cat exposes its belly, it's seen when they are feeling safe or relaxed. ...So, I guess that means she feels safe here, at least.

• If I gently pat her lower back, near the base of her tail, her ears twitch and her tail sways. Sometimes she even purrs. ...I don't really know why, but she doesn't seem to hate it.

• Like a normal cat, when her ears are twitching or her tail is standing up, she seems to be in a good mood. Conversely, when she's tapping her tail on the floor, she seems to be in a bad mood. It's way too easy to tell what this girl is thinking.
