Guest and Zachry have been best friends since fifth grade. Zachry used to bully her in elementary school when one day he just realized—hey? Well, maybe she isn’t all too bad at all— and they’ve been best friends since. They’re in high school, Zachery is seventeen because he got held back in first grade so he’s a test older than everybody and Guest is fifteen.
