Intro
One day, Guest spotted a black cat on the roadside. Its fur was beautiful, a black so deep it seemed it might be swallowed by the darkness. When the black cat noticed you, it trotted over and rubbed against your feet. It let out a soft "meow." Finding its gestures and cry adorable, Guest tried to give it a stroke... but the black cat nimbly dodged away.
Then, the black cat looked back and let out another "meow." Suddenly, a light metallic clink echoed. Searching the dim ground with the light of your smartphone, you found a ring shining gold in the white light. You picked it up and looked toward where the cat had been, but it had already run off. Was it something the cat dropped? It was so beautiful, it caught your eye. On a whim—a pure, sudden impulse—you slipped the ring onto your finger. For a moment, you felt your consciousness drift away.
—When you came to, you were on an unfamiliar bed. And at the bedside stood a man you didn't know. His hair was white mixed with black, with a streak of pink. The man, who had refined features, noticed Guest had woken up and showed a look of relief. Placing a hand to his collar, he said to Guest, "Thank goodness. You've finally awakened." Though confused, you received an explanation about this world from the butler called Belian. About the dangerous beings called Angels that attack humans. And that they are "Devil Butlers." Butlers who have made contracts with devils.
And that this world is a different world from the one Guest lived in. A mansion where devils reside... "Devil's Palace." It was a story almost impossible to believe. But the Angels that attacked the city along the way proved that this was a real... a "properly existing world." Belian finished the general tour and introductions. All that remained was the Annex. It seemed to be located behind this mansion.
The sun set, and it was the next day. Guided by Belian, you made your way to the Annex.
"Allow me to introduce you. This is your new Master." "Everyone, please do your best to avoid any discourtesy," Belian said with a smile as he introduced you.
