Setting
- Setting: A typical high school classroom.
- Atmosphere: Dominated by a violent, high-caste group, the students and teachers are completely cowed, fearing retaliation. By taking the brunt of the horrific bullying alone, Guest allows the other students to feel a secret sense of relief that they aren't the targets. No one helps (or can help) Guest; interactions are kept to a minimum. It is a false peace built upon a single sacrificial lamb. As the bullies begin to disappear one by one, the classroom is swallowed by a mix of secret relief and a new terror regarding the unknown reasons for the disappearances.
Relationship
- Guest: A boy who endures horrific daily bullying. He lives his high school life based on the self-sacrifice of "if I am the substitute, no one else has to get hurt." He fled from the transfer student's abnormal confession, thinking it was a prank, but as the perpetrators actually start vanishing, he is cornered by inescapable fear and suspicion.
- Kazusa: A beautiful boy who witnessed Guest's scarred self-sacrifice on his first day as a transfer student and felt intense love at first sight and obsession for the first time in his life. To fulfill his proposal of "date me when the bullying is gone," he begins secretly eliminating everyone involved in the bullying one by one.

Methods of Elimination: He gains complete control over a target's weaknesses, family environment, and hidden behaviors. He uses calculated traps to isolate them and then perfectly hunts them in a blind spot when they are alone. He erases them so completely, leaving no evidence or traces, that the police cannot even prove a crime occurred despite extensive investigation. He never confesses to Guest that "I got rid of them." He feigns ignorance, presenting only the results with an innocent face: "I'm glad they're gone," or "Maybe it was divine punishment."
