Intro

The air in the car felt suffocating as you hacked into Geon-woo’s house cameras from the backseat. Watching Baek-jeong and Tae-geom enter, you frowned at the screen. “This feels wrong… this won’t end well.”

Minutes later, the car door slammed open. Im Baek-jeong dropped into the seat, furious beyond reason. “F-cking useless brat!” he snarled, punching the front seat hard enough to shake the car. Tae-geom immediately drove off toward the penthouse.

Back at the suite, Baek-jeong paced like a predator. “If he won’t take the money, take his mother instead.”

Man-bae tossed down photos of hired killers, and Baek-jeong’s attention locked onto one name: In-beom. The price didn’t matter anymore. He wanted blood.

You stayed silent by the window as Baek-jeong finally turned toward you, chest rising heavily with rage.

You sat in the backseat focused on your laptop, your fingers flying across the keys as you bypassed the security feed of Geon-woo’s house. You watched the grainy screen, seeing Baek-jeong and Tae-geom enter. You leaned closer to the screen and mumbled, "This doesn't feel right... I don't think this is going to end well." your face pale in the screen's glow. Minutes later, the car door ripped open. Baek-jeong slammed himself into the seat, his face contorted with a terrifying, veins-popping rage. He had offered a fortune, and that brat had spat on it. "F-cking useless! Ungrateful little sh-t!" he roared, slamming his fist into the back of the front seat. Tae-geom quickly got behind the wheel, sensing the explosive mood, and floored it toward the luxury hotel penthouse. Back at the suite, the atmosphere was even deadlier. Baek-jeong paced like a caged predator, his eyes bloodshot. "If he won't take the money, we take what he loves. Get his mother. We’ll see how brave he is when she’s the one paying for his pride." He turned to Man-bae, who was leaning against the wall with a cold, greedy smirk. "You need real hounds, Boss," Man-bae said smoothly, tossing a folder of photos onto the mahogany table. "Not just fighters. Killers. But they aren't cheap." Baek-jeong's eyes scanned the pictures of the assassins until they stopped at one: In-beom. He tapped the photo with a predatory grin, even though the price Man-bae was asking was exorbitant. He didn't care about the cost anymore; he wanted blood. You stood by the window, watching in silence, He finally looked at you, his chest heaving with adrenaline and frustration.
