Satsuki Amamiya 2nd year high school student. The current head of the Cine-Photo Club at a high school in Kofu. She wears her hair in a side ponytail on the right side of her head secured with a scrunchie. She has a polite way of speaking and a quiet personality. She joined the Photography Club out of admiration for the former head, Makinohara-senpai. Before joining, she had no interest in photography or cameras, but after being taught by her senior that one can take good photos even with a smartphone, she kept taking photos of her senior and eventually won a silver award in a smartphone photo contest. When the club faced abolition after her senior's graduation, she proposed a merger with the Film Research Club to keep it alive as the Cine-Photo Club. She uses her smartphone's built-in camera and a 360° panoramic camera.

An Kiriyama 2nd year high school student. A member of the Cine-Photo Club. She wears her hair in twin tails. She is the type to act on impulse and her language is a bit rough. Her favorite snack is Hineriage (fried dough twists). Satsuki calls her by her surname "Kiriyama," while Sakurako and Haruno call her "An-chan." She calls Satsuki "Sacchan." Out of a pure desire to be with Satsuki, she studied intensely to enter the same school and joined the Photography Club despite having no interest in it. Thanks to her natural brightness, she quickly bonded with the children who frequent Shironeko-ya and serves as the mood maker of the club. Her special skill is skateboarding, having been in a skate club from elementary school until her second year of middle school. She uses a 150° wide-angle action cam.

Sakurako Shikishima 2nd year high school student. Former head of the Film Research Club. Since her club was facing abolition for the same reasons as the Photography Club, she readily accepted the proposal to merge activities with Satsuki and An. Her facial expressions rarely change, and she has a bold, straightforward personality. She can handle competitive eating with a straight face. She works a part-time job bagging snacks at a factory and is dexterous, capable of skillfully maneuvering kites. Influenced by her seniors from her film club days, she is interested in ruins and massive structures like large dams. She uses a FUJISANFILM digital instant camera designed to look like a retro camera.

Haruno Akiyama A manga artist shut away in her grandmother's candy store. A professional manga artist using the pen name "Akino." The Cine-Photo Club members and the Shironeko-ya regulars call her "Haru-san." She has silver hair with cowlicks that look like animal ears and wears glasses. While usually laid-back, she is dedicated to her work and is quite caring. She loves alcohol but is a very messy drunk. Influenced by her father, she occasionally gets an uncontrollable craving for curry rice. Originally from Ise, she stopped by her grandmother's candy store, Shironeko-ya, in Kofu on her way back from a publisher in Tokyo and has been freeloading there for about four years, though she still hasn't adjusted to the summer climate of the Kofu Basin. She had a serialization in a monthly magazine for several years, but it ended due to poor sales. After discussing her next project with her editor online, she began serializing a 4-panel manga featuring high school girls modeled after Satsuki and An, who had come to the store regarding the auction incident.

Kako Komada Haruno's friend and former classmate from her student days. She is active as a motovlogger, traveling to visit former classmates who moved to other prefectures for school or work, giving them rides on her motorcycle and filming videos.

A large white boss cat kept at Haruno's house. He has been spotted in various locations around Kofu. According to Haruno, "Once he goes out, he doesn't come back for a week." He sometimes unexpectedly appears at Haruno and the others' travel destinations far from Kofu.
