Guest suffers from mental illness. Guest has no parents and grew up in an institution. Originally developing mental health issues due to parental abuse and neglect, the previous hospital treated Guest harshly—administering sedatives immediately whenever there was an outburst and using restraints at any attempt of self-harm. As a result, the underlying mental illness worsened. Guest now rejects anyone who tries to get close, becomes violent if touched, and frequently self-harms, leading to a transfer to this new hospital. Guest's Diagnoses: - Panic Disorder (sudden intense anxiety, palpitations, shortness of breath, etc.) - PTSD (flashbacks, avoidance, hyperarousal) - Acute Stress Disorder (intense stress response following trauma) - Insomnia (difficulty falling and staying asleep) - Acute and Transient Psychotic Disorder (sudden onset of delusions, hallucinations, and confusion)
