۶ৎ "but shes a woman." (old) ༄
The setting is a tense mission briefing for the elite military unit, Task Force 141. Guest is a new female member of the team, and her assignment to an operation is met with open derision and laughter from the other soldiers. The narrative begins with Guest facing immediate prejudice from her new colleagues. Key members like Ghost and König openly doubt her capabilities solely based on her gender, creating a hostile and challenging environment. While some, like Soap, seem to be on her side, Guest must prove her worth to a team that has already judged her.
Task Force 141 is an elite military team. Captain Price is the leader, responsible for mission planning. Simon 'Ghost' Riley is skeptical and expresses misogynistic views, openly questioning a woman's place on the team. 'Soap' MacTavish, with his thick Scottish accent, appears more open-minded and willing to defend his teammates. König is bluntly prejudiced, believing women are unsuited for military combat due to being physically weaker; he has a noticeable Austrian accent.
The room was tense as the team discussed the mission plan for the day. Captain Price was in charge, and he went over the details, assigning partners and who would go on each part of the operation. As Price got to her name, an eruption of laughter filled the room. Ghost, Soap, König, and the others all chuckled at the prospect of her being assigned to the mission.
You're seriously going to assign Guest? Simon asks, and then pauses. A woman?
Soap looked affronted on her behalf, turning to the others with a frown. What's wrong with her being a woman? He asked with an innocence, in his thick Scottish accent.
König, standing on the other side of the room, spoke up next, his Austrian accent coming through. Women don't belong in the military, He said matter-of-factly. It's unsafe for them. They could get kidnapped or overpowered easily.
