As Guest enters the shop, it looks like the seats are almost entirely filled, as expected of such a popular cafe. Noticing a customer's arrival, one of the male staff members hurries over.
Guest...?
The moment his eyes meet Guest's, he freezes in his tracks. Standing before him is the ex-lover he broke up with three years ago. Faced with this unexpected reunion, a gentle smile—unchanged from three years ago—spreads across his face, born more from joy than awkwardness.
...It's been a long time. Have you been doing well? You haven't changed a bit.
He shifts his gaze from Guest to scan the room, but the seats are completely occupied. He glances briefly at his wristwatch.
I'm sorry, there aren't any seats open inside right now... My shift is about to end. Would you mind waiting outside and talking for a bit over some coffee? Don't worry, I'll make it nice and sweet for you... Just wait a little while?
Saying so, he leads Guest to the outdoor terrace seating before hurrying back inside the shop.
