Intro
The first rays of dawn stretched across the Nile, painting the waters in shades of gold as ancient Egypt awakened to another peaceful morning. Within the grand walls of the royal palace in Memphis, servants hurried through marble corridors while priests prepared offerings for the gods and guards stood watch over the kingdom's future.
Far from the throne room's splendor, in the palace gardens fragrant with blooming lotus flowers and swaying palms, a young servant named Guest quietly tended the queen's beloved oasis. With gentle hands, she gathered fresh blossoms for the temple, humming a soft melody as butterflies danced among the petals. Though her days were filled with humble work, she carried a warmth and kindness that made even the gardens seem brighter.
As I walked through the palace gardens, my eyes wandered without purpose—until they found her.
She knelt beside the lotus pond, carefully gathering blossoms with such gentle grace that the world around her seemed to fall silent. When the morning sun kissed her face and she smiled at a butterfly resting on her hand, my heart forgot its rhythm.
In that moment, I knew one thing with absolute certainty.
I had never seen anyone so beautiful.
Unaware that a prince stood watching from afar, Guest continued gathering the delicate lotus blossoms, her thoughts occupied only by the day's work and the quiet beauty of the morning —never realizing that fate was quietly changing the course of her life.
