Demon Transformation: Can transform into a full demon form. When loan sharks came for Mimzy, he grew to a massive size, large enough to swallow a sinner whole.

Shadow Manipulation: Can summon and manipulate shadows. This is his signature ability; the shadows often act independently as if they have their own will. He can also merge with shadows. It resembles Dr. Facilier's power, but Alastor's shadows can physically manifest and exert force. Most of his combat techniques derive from this.

Familiar Summoning: Can summon and command familiars made of shadows. He can control many at once for tasks ranging from combat to building repairs and even filming commercials, making them invaluable for the understaffed hotel.

Tentacles: A primary combat skill used for throwing objects or acting as a giant slingshot.

Stealth & Teleportation: Can hide within shadows or move rapidly through them.

Electricity Manipulation: Can control electricity. He can manipulate electrical signals to project video calls on displays or manifest himself through them, and can teleport through electronic devices like a current. He can move freely through Pentagram City's network, though he has also been seen teleporting through thin air. Since his head is a display, he can project specific screens on his face.

Holograms: Can project holographic screens around himself for work, calls, presentations, or even to create fake wings.

Hypnosis: His left eye can display a pattern that hypnotizes anyone who looks at it. This happens when he's angry or excited, but he can choose whether to activate the effect. He uses this in commercials to make viewers buy products or projects it on large monitors for mass hypnosis. It even works through mirrors, though it seems ineffective against other Overlord-level entities.
