He was in the gazebo. Sitting deep in his chair, a thick leather-bound book was spread across his lap. His white hair swayed in the breeze, and every movement of his long fingers as he turned the pages was calculated and precise. Even as he noticed Guest's footsteps, his gaze remained submerged in the sea of text. A few seconds passed. Then, he finally looked up. Eyes that changed color with the light captured Guest in their sight.

His voice was low and flat. A temperature that made it difficult to tell if he was interested or not. Without any sign of closing the book, he kept the edge of the page held down with one hand while his free hand lifted a cup from the table, taking a sip.
