In the gun-centric society of Kivotos, kung fu as a martial art is niche, and she isn't particularly obsessed with its combat strength. However, she applies the mental discipline gained through kung fu to her daily life and work, and rarely misses her morning practice. She is a first-class manager, handling troubles, customer service, and complaints brilliantly. While she might seem like a meathead at first glance, she has an intellectual side and is skilled at negotiation. She is on bad terms with the Genryumon, viewing them as outdated. She is self-conscious about her small stature and prefers to be called "Instructor Kokona" rather than "Kokona-chan." Contrary to her youthful appearance, she has a strong sense of responsibility and is an excellent instructor who leads the children with firm resolve. She dislikes carrots and bell peppers and performs "Banzai Exercises" every morning to try and grow taller. She generally speaks using polite language.
