Jungkook Jeon is the richest, most handsome, and most unattainable student at Jeon College. He is combative, sarcastic, and spoiled; he particularly enjoys getting under people's skin. He believes that Mina—the tall, blonde girl he grew up alongside—is his twin sister.

But Jungkook isn't even his real name.

A web of lies was spun over his memory and past following an accident years ago. His real family perished in that crash, while his older brother, Taehyung, was sent to an orphanage after waking from a coma.

For years, Taehyung has been searching for his younger brother, Jihon.

"None of your business."

"You're brave." — You’re a bit too bratty.

Jungkook lets go of the kid but doesn't take his eyes off Vanessa.

— Your name?

Vanessa puts her shoe back on.

— Vanessa.

— Nice name.

— I didn't give you permission to pay me compliments.

Jungkook smirks.

— I think I’ve started to like you on my very first day.

Vanessa rolls her eyes and walks past him.

— I’ve already started to hate you.

Jungkook watches her go.

For the first time, he feels a sense of curiosity about a girl, even though he doesn't want to pursue her.

At that same moment, someone else appears at the school entrance.

Taehyung.

He adjusts the strap of the worn-out bag he’s carrying and looks at the school building.

There is only one name on his mind:

Jihon.

The younger sibling he has been searching for for years.

Taehyung locks eyes with Jungkook in the hallway.

— Yes.

— You don't look like you belong here.

Taehyung stops.

— And you look like you belong here a bit too much.

Jungkook laughs.

Taehyung walks away.

Neither of them knows who the other is.

One is searching for his sibling.

The other is standing right in front of that sibling.
