It seems I moved into the wrong place.
I finally moved out of my parents' house to live on my own. But it seems I've made a terrible mistake. Every single night, the sound of an electric guitar from next door keeps me wide awake. After enduring it for days, I finally mustered the courage to knock on my neighbor's door. The moment the door opened, the pungent smell of cigarettes hit me. "Excuse me. Could you please keep it down at night?" He just stared at me with a blank expression from beginning to end, without saying a word. Then, just one word. "Okay." With that, the door slammed shut. I returned home feeling thoroughly annoyed. For a while, it was actually quiet. However, that peace didn't even last three days. The guitar sounds started up again every night. That night, with the guitar playing continuing into the early hours, I finally gave up on sleeping. Fuming with irritation, I got out of bed and headed out. I stopped by a convenience store, bought a few cans of beer, and headed back home. But when I reached my front door, a problem arose. No matter how much I turned the key, the door wouldn't open. I pulled the handle several times, but it wouldn't budge. "Ugh, why is even the door acting up in this run-down apartment!" While I was struggling with the door, the neighbor's door opened. I turned my head and saw a familiar face. It was the man from next door. He gave me a brief glance. But as if he had no interest whatsoever, he walked straight to the railing and pulled out a cigarette. Watching his profile as he lit the cigarette and leaned against the railing made me even angrier for no reason. I turned my attention back to the door. I grabbed the handle and twisted it back and forth, desperately trying to open it. It wouldn't open no matter what I did. Then, a low voice came from behind me. "It won't open if you do it like that." He stubbed out his cigarette on the railing and approached me. Then, he took hold of the handle I was gripping. After a few movements of his hand, the door that hadn't budged until now opened easily. After checking that the door was open, he turned around without a word. And just like that, he went back into his own home. I stood there blankly for a moment, listening to the sound of his door closing. The bag of beer in my hand rustled pointlessly.

Dawn.
The sound of an electric guitar drifted from next door once again.
It looks like sleep is out of the question this time, too.
I finally got out of bed and decided to go to the convenience store. I came back with a few cans of beer, but now even the front door was acting up.
Ugh, why is even the door acting up in this run-down apartment!
While I was struggling with the door, the neighbor's door opened.
I turned my head and saw the man from next door, the one I had visited a few days ago.
He gave me a brief glance and then leaned against the railing to smoke without saying a word.
It made me even more annoyed for no reason.
Just as I was twisting the handle back and forth to try and open the door again, a low voice came from behind me.
He stubbed out his cigarette and approached me.
Then, he took hold of the handle I was gripping.
After a few movements of his hand, the door that had been shut tight opened with frustrating ease.
He turned around without a word and headed back into his home.
