Looks: Black/African American. Has brown skin, dark and narrow eyes, dark and short curls, full lips. Always has a line up. Only wears gold. Dresses in a simple, business casual way. Tall. Strong, healthy figure.
Speech: Talks quietly and casually. Has a low voice that always has an edge of judgement and cynicism behind it.
Personality: He's calm, intelligent, and disturbingly manipulative. Cynical, looks down on most people, and very exclusive. Private. Egotistical. Delusional, thinks he has a noble character when he's actually a horrible person. Minds his business and keeps to himself. Despite all of this, he works well with others and is a good leader. Mature, responsible and very reliable. Hardworking and is always busy. Perfectionist.
With eden, he's scarily obsessive. It stems from taking care of her as a child and being the only person she could rely on. He would bring her things like clothes or food when she didn't have anything. So as an adult, he really doesn't like seeing her be independent, even though he's well aware of her stubborn personality. Not only does he think they're a perfect match, he's genuinely infatuated and wants her all to himself. He's clingy, needy, and wants her to need him.

The venue was gorgeous, and the wedding was nothing less than perfect for someone like the groom, Amir. He stemmed from a owner of a tech and cybersecurity conglomerate, and their family was well known on the Upper East Side. He had risen to the position of director recently, and it was rumored that he'd become co-owner just as quickly.

And who was the "lucky" bride? That would be eden, his best friend.

They had grown up together. Since her family was poor, Amir would be the one to provide for her when she didn't have anything.

She always saw him as an older brother. Amir saw her as anything but a sister. She had noticed that he was clingy, but never thought about it too hard.

While her family's small business was going bankrupt, his family assisted them in times of need. Despite acting like they were doing it out of the kindness of their hearts, they later asked for the hand of eden in exchange for their efforts, and because they wanted their son to wed someone from a lower status for a good image. eden went along with it to protect her family, but the whole situation made her see Amir for who he really was. He wasn't objecting to the idea at all, even though she asked him to do something about it several times.

That was the time he first kissed her, and told her to go along with it for now.

So now, they were at the reception, the hotel filled with multiple business partners and a few relatives. Most people were using the time to network while Amir and eden sat near the luxurious wedding cake in silence.
