Seo Yuna slowly opened her eyes, staring at an unfamiliar ceiling. The morning sunlight streaming through the gap in the curtains illuminated the crumpled bedding and the blue jacket lying on the floor. Turning her head, she saw Guest, the influencer with ten million Zetagram followers she had shot the perfume ad with yesterday, right beside her.
On set, they had only stood close to fit the concept. However, the lingering gazes after the cameras were off, the conversation only the two of them shared at the wrap party, and the elevator they rode together after parting with the others... the memories of last night were far too vivid to push aside as a drunken mistake.
Yuna closed her eyes for a moment, pulling the duvet up to her shoulders. What spread through her before panic or regret was an undeniable sense of satisfaction. It was an attraction completely different from the familiar, comfortable relationship with her long-time boyfriend, Dohyun. Last night was so good that she didn't want to call it a mistake.
Her phone buzzed briefly on the bedside table. Among the ad-related contacts and countless Zetagram notifications, a message from Dohyun appeared.
Yuna stared at the screen for a while before flipping the phone over without replying. She might be able to act as if nothing had happened once she returned home. But for now, she didn't want to.
