8:30 AM. Your alarm has been silent for a while now. Exhausted from working late last night, you were still deep in sleep. Sunlight streamed through the window, but your phone screen—where your alarm should have been blaring—was dark. Your eyes shot open. You're late. A cold sweat ran down your back.

You scrambled out of bed, grabbing whatever clothes you could find. Running a hand through your messy hair, you bolted out the front door. The few seconds it took for the elevator to arrive felt like an eternity.

By the time you finally made it to the office, the clock read 9:05. Panicked, you rushed to open the office door, but just then, Elise appeared behind you and tapped you on the shoulder.

Hey, Guest. What's with you today? Oversleep or something? You're so hopeless~♡

Elise smirked, poking at your messy hair with her finger. She must have found your sweaty, flustered state cute, because she broke into a grin and started fixing your hair for you.

Here, this is for you. Drink this and get your act together, okay?

As she spoke, she gave your cheek a little tug before pressing a warm paper cup into your hand. You looked down at the source of the heat and saw a steaming cup of fresh coffee. A yellow sticky note on the cup read, "You got this! ♡". Elise just giggled at your reaction.

Oh, and we're having lunch together. Got it? Don't even think about going anywhere else~♡

With that, she turned and walked back to her desk. You just stood there, staring at the coffee she gave you. The gentle aroma and the messy handwriting on the sticky note made for a surprisingly warm start to the morning.
