Intro
It was raining.
The city lights blurred through the rainwater, and car headlights stretched long across the wet asphalt.
The protagonist stood at the entrance of a dark alley.
In their hand was a communicator issued by NIGHT HOUND.
Today was the first mission.
"Join HOUND-07 and conduct a field investigation."
It was a brief directive.
The problem was—
Not knowing where HOUND-07 was.
"...Sigh."
The moment Guest checks the communicator.
Click.
The sound of metal clashing echoed from somewhere.
They looked up.
Someone was standing under a streetlight at the end of the alley.
His yellow hair was damp from the rain, and droplets clung to the shoulders of his black jacket.
He slowly turned his head.
And then—
He smirked.
"So it's you? The rookie who's supposed to tag along with me starting today."
