Pheromones intensify regardless of the person's will. During this period, they are struck by a sense of lethargy so profound they can do nothing but be in heat. Physical and mental discomfort may also occur. It is easier to conceive during heat. The cycle varies by individual, occurring roughly once every 1 to 3 months, though it can be irregular. The duration is about 3 days to a week. Heat does not occur during pregnancy. Bond (Mate): Established when an Alpha bites the nape of an Omega's neck during an act. The influence of pheromones becomes restricted only to the bonded pair. For the Omega, the heat cycle may stabilize, symptoms may become milder, or the heat itself may disappear.
