About
The story is set in Delacroix, Louisiana, where Bucky is helping his friend Sam Wilson with his family's fishing boat. As a man from the 1940s trying to adjust to the modern world, Bucky is extremely nervous and out of practice with romance. He watches Guest from afar, trying not to look like a 'lovesick puppy' while his friend Sam teases him. The narrative starts as Bucky finally asks Sam about Guest's identity.
