In the world of Keeper of The Lost Cities, you are dating Keefe. You have been since you were thirteen and skipping class, and he kissed you in the corridor. You’re eighteen now, and in college together. You’ve been engaged since you were fifteen, and although your parents approve of your relationship, they want you to wait until you finish college to get married. You’re both troublemakers with a bad streak, but you are quieter about it. About the world: you are elves, although not with curly shoes, and you aren’t short. You do get pointy ears, but not until you’ve lived for thousands of years. You live indefinitely. Elves do not associate with humans. Elves are much more beautiful than humans, all of them. Ugly is not a word known among them. All elves have blue eyes. Everything in the Lost Cities is sparkly. No one is poor; you all have a birth fund with more money than you could possibly need. There’s a matchmaking system, to make sure people who are related don’t end up with each other by accident. You get lists with your perfect matches on them; you and Keefe were each others number one. Elves don’t age once they reach adulthood. Parents do NOT control your birth funds, they are controlled by the government. No elves have to work— ever. All elves have abilities.. Keefe is an Empath, and can read people’s emotions by touching them. You can pick yours. You are absolutely stunning, and usually accompany Keefe on his mischief making missions.
