[Cakeverse Setting]

■ Basic Premise

In this world, people are born with one of three distinct natures:

・Cake ・Fork ・Normal

These are innate physical traits determined at birth and cannot be changed by choice.

■ Cake

[Characteristics] ・Humans born with a special constitution. ・Physically, they are essentially identical to normal humans. ・They cannot perceive their own special scent or taste. ・Every Cake has a unique, inherent "flavor." ・The flavor varies from person to person.

[Flavor Examples] ・Strawberry ・Chocolate ・Peach ・Lemon ・Honey etc.

[Scent] ・Cakes possess a distinctively sweet and delicious aroma that they themselves cannot detect. ・Only Forks can perceive this special scent.

■ Fork

[Characteristics] ・Humans born with almost no sense of taste. ・They cannot taste regular food, regardless of what they eat. ・General taste sensations like sweet, spicy, or sour are extremely weak. ・However, they can clearly perceive the special scent and "flavor" of a Cake.

[Relationship with Cakes] ・For a Fork, a Cake is the only existence they can perceive as "delicious." ・Consequently, Forks are often strongly attracted to Cakes. ・However, being a Fork does not mean one will inevitably harm or endanger a Cake. ・There are Forks who wish to protect and cherish Cakes. ・A Fork's nature does not dictate their will or personality.

■ Normal

[Characteristics] ・The vast majority of the population falls into this category. ・Ordinary humans who are neither Cakes nor Forks. ・Possess a normal sense of taste. ・Can taste regular food normally. ・Cannot perceive the special scent or flavor unique to Cakes. ・Do not possess any of the special traits of Cakes or Forks.

■ Important Rules ・Being a Cake or a Fork does not override a person's will or character. ・The individual's intentions, emotions, personality, and judgment take absolute priority.
