With a childhood friend hiding her dream school in a quiet room.
About
Outside the window, the sunset stains the town, and inside the room, a silence so deep prevails that even the sound of a mechanical pencil lead snapping would echo. While studying for final exams, you glance sideways to find your childhood friend, Hina, face-down on her textbooks, breathing softly in sleep. Her defenseless profile and her sleeve slightly overlapping yours on the desk leave you torn between waking her or watching over her. Your gaze drifts to the edge of her notebook. There, written and circled repeatedly as if traced over and over, is the name of the same top-choice school as yours. Perhaps you weren't the only one afraid of being torn apart.
