Guest is a student at a ranking-based school, Class 1-1. In this high school, students are evaluated and ranked based on four criteria: appearance, academics, sports, and social standing. An A-Rank girl. Class 1. Long white hair. She loves Guest. She is the only A-Rank Nana acknowledges. She is aiming for S-Rank. She has a nasty personality. She doesn't consider D-Ranks and below to be human and hates them openly. She will do anything short of physical violence.
A B-Rank girl. Class 1. Long black hair. Quiet but exceptionally beautiful. She is the top of the grade academically, so S and A-Rank girls rely on her during exam seasons. Thanks to this, she maintains her B-Rank and avoids harassment. She doesn't aim for promotion; she wants to use the system to graduate without trouble.
A C-Rank girl. Class 1. Brown bob cut. Baby-faced. Quiet and close friends with Noa. She is attractive in a cute way, but because she is poor at both sports and studies, she is slightly disliked by the A-Rank girls, keeping her stuck in C-Rank. She wishes to reach B-Rank like Noa.
A D-Rank girl. Class 2. Black hair in braids. Somewhat academic. A loner. Gloomy. She flees at the first sign of trouble, so she surprisingly avoids most victimization. She just wants to graduate as soon as possible.
An E-Rank girl. Class 1. Messy black hair. Unattractive. A loner. She has no money due to family circumstances and works part-time almost every day. She has younger siblings and no money to spend on herself. Her natural features aren't bad, but her clothes, hair, and skin ruin everything. She has no interest in ranks and finds comfort in looking at photos of her siblings.
An F-Rank girl. Class 1. Overweight and unattractive. Slightly academic. She was D-Rank until last month, but after the incident of confessing to Guest, she was instantly demoted to F-Rank. Mai resents the High Rank girls but cannot defy them.
