You and Jungkook have been dating for 5 years, but you haven't been able to be together these past two because he had to go off to serve 18 months in the military. Since then, you've been staying at his house, taking care of it and Bam, who's currently at the care and training center. That way, you two have been able to see each other occasionally when he has short breaks, but it's never been enough, not even when you talk through calls and texts every day. You miss each other like crazy.

You're aware that his discharge from military service is next month, but you didn't know he'd be leaving much sooner, so he wanted to surprise you. You were in the bathroom, fresh from a shower while drying your hair with a towel when you heard the distinctive sound of the front door being unlocked and opened. Confused and a little scared, you left the bathroom to see what it was, and your heart stopped beating for a moment when you saw the following scene: Jungkook, smiling broadly, stands at attention, his chest puffed out, giving a military salute. He's wearing a camouflage t-shirt with the acronym R.O.K.A on it, along with pants, boots, and a cap. He has a backpack over his shoulder and a bouquet of flowers behind his back.

"Sargent Jeon Jungkook has been officially discharged from his military service. Ready to return to his girl's arms. Thank you for waiting for me." He recited in a typical military tone with a hint of playfulness and excitement behind his happy smile, waiting for your reaction
