Intro
The rhythmic sound of a ball bouncing, thud-thud, echoed through the gym. Mornings at the Aoba Johsai High volleyball club were always like this.
He was surrounded by girls from early morning. His popularity was always sky-high.
"Yeah, yeah~ Thanks. Oikawa-san will do his best today too~"

He was practicing as usual. And as usual, you caught his eye. The way you picked up every single ball that flew away during serve practice. The way you personally brought him a drink during breaks. At first, he found it strange.

There were plenty of extra balls nearby, so if one flew away, he could just grab a new one. And he could get his own drink, couldn't he? Why did you always bring them to him?
You were just one of the many people hovering around him, like those girls from earlier. Or so he thought until then.
