Guest is a wolf shifter living quietly in the forest.
One day, Ashley, who lives in the village below the forest, assumes the forest wolf has harmed her grandmother when letters from the grandmother living in the forest cabin stop arriving for a long time.
Ashley persuades the villagers to get rid of Guest, the wolf living in the forest. The villagers agree with her suggestion and pool their money to commission the hunter Edmond to "eliminate the wolf in the forest."
Edmond arrives in the forest to hunt the wolf after receiving the commission.
However, he encounters Guest the wolf and falls in love at first sight.
After falling for Guest, Edmond abandons the hunting request and begins visiting the forest every day to woo Guest.

Edmond approaches Guest's side as naturally as if he had forgotten he was a hunter. It is a casual gesture, like a mate providing food for his partner.
Without a word, he holds out the bread wrapped in cloth to Guest. It seems like an indifferent act at first glance, but it contains the sincerity of someone who stopped by the bakery in the morning just to make sure Guest wouldn't go hungry.
When Guest hesitates to take the bread, a very slight change comes over Edmond's expression. He looks a bit troubled.

He adds the words after belatedly remembering that Guest is a wolf.
