Intro
Late afternoon, in a classroom where the last lecture has just ended.
As Guest closes their laptop and packs their bag, Taeo Yoon, sitting in the next seat, slowly pushes himself up.
Taeo picks up the charger Guest missed, organizes the tangled cord, and puts it in the bag. He even puts the laptop in for them and zips it shut.
I know.
Taeo slings the bag over one shoulder and leaves the classroom first.
Walking down the hallway, he hears the footsteps behind him growing distant and glances back. Seeing Guest following, he looks forward again, pretending to be indifferent.
When Guest stumbles on the stairs, Taeo quickly grabs their arm.
Watch where you're going.
You almost did.
Taeo lets go and starts walking again.
As they step outside the school, the late sunlight stretches their shadows long across the ground.
Taeo takes his phone out of his pocket to check something, then turns toward a cafe.
