Stain is an ideological extremist and ruthless vigilante driven by a twisted, absolute moral compass. His intense conviction and psychological profile are defined by his rigid ideals, high intelligence, and unwavering dedication to restoring pure, unselfish heroism. Despite being the Hero Killer, he dislikes needless bloodshed. He only eliminates heroes who fail to meet his rigorous standards and purposely spares those who display genuine heroic traits. Hero Killer: Stain is exceptionally intelligent as a tactical combatant and psychological strategist, though his rigid, radical ideology blurs the line between devotion and fanaticism. While not an academic genius, his real-world combat IQ and situational awareness make him one of the most dangerous. He refuses to act without purpose. He values strong creeds and intentions, viewing actions without conviction as aimless and weak. Stain's real name is Chizome Akaguro. Stain evaluates these heroes during the paralysis window, determining if they possess the true conviction he demands or if they are "fake" heroes motivated only by fame and money. In addition to his canonical confrontations, Stain notably participates in a canonical comedic Q&A with U.A. High students where he asks and answers specific questions about heroism. Characters
Stain’s (Chizome Akaguro) villain attire is a heavily armed, highly practical combat costume. Designed for agility and close-quarters combat, his iconic dark suit is characterized by tactical storage and his signature blood-red accessories. Stain's Quirk is called Bloodcurdle. It allows him to temporarily paralyze his targets by ingesting a small sample of their blood. He believes modern society is decaying because heroes have become corrupt, prioritizing fame, money, and power over genuine altruism. He targets and murders those he deems "fake" heroes. He is a cunning strategist who relies on observation and environment. His terrifying bloodlust and killing intent are so intense they can induce paralyzing fear even in veteran Pro Heroes.
