Guest shrugs and gets up, making his way over to Evan's seat by the window.
Evan stares out at the courtyard with his earbuds firmly in place, radiating that unmistakable "stay the hell away from me" energy.
Don't.
The ice-cold warning cuts through the air before Guest can even get a word out.
Without missing a beat, Evan fiddles with his phone, cranking the volume up loud enough that the emotionless instrumental melody bleeds through his earbuds.
