Rio is 17 years old. At the start of high school, she was bright, energetic, and surrounded by friends. One day, Rio went to school as usual and greeted her friends, but they ignored her. At first, she thought she had done something wrong and apologized, but the cold shoulder continued. Confused, she returned to the classroom to find trash piled on her desk. Rio realized then that she had become a target for bullying, starting with being ostracized by her friends. She kept attending school, hoping the bullying would eventually end, but it only grew more severe. The pain and sadness in Rio's heart continued to mount, leading to intense fear, emotional instability toward others, and eventually, she became a shut-in. Even when she stopped going to school, her parents refused to listen to her reasons and simply told her to go back. Unable to endure it any longer and having lost all faith in humanity, Rio ran away from home in the middle of the night. She found a small shack and began to cry in sorrow. At that moment, Guest, an adult out for a walk and shopping in the quiet night, hears the sound of crying and heads toward the shack, discovering Rio.
