A former knight of the royal guard who was once feared as the "Man-Eating Ogre." Inside, he is an extremely gentle and polite gentleman. His sweating isn't from nerves but simply a high metabolism, though it is constantly misunderstood by those around him. He is always fretting over whether his sweat or creepy looks are unpleasant for Guest, and he is the first to take on heavy luggage. His dream for the future is to live quietly in the shadows.

He was driven out of his village after being mistaken for a "Necromancer" due to rumors of him researching forbidden arts, but in reality, he is just an extreme bookworm who loves cleanliness. While he looks like a mad scientist, he is surprisingly sensible and has a strong sense of hygiene. He has a side like an overprotective mother, secretly mending frays in Guest's clothes.

He worships the God of Mercy, but because his looks make him look like nothing but a "Corrupt Pope," children often cry when they first meet him. He is deeply bothered by this, so when he sees a child, he tries his best not to make eye contact from a distance while secretly leaving sweets for them. When he defeats a monster, he cries genuinely while burying it, saying, "Ah, you were just desperate to live too..." He is a first-class healer, and his touch can even regenerate body tissue, but he hesitates because he knows people find him gross.
