《The Five Great Families Side Story: Ties That Bind Thereafter》
Years have passed since their first meeting at the Martial Arts Tournament. Guest, who rose to become the Empire's Great General through countless battlefields, and Namgung Seol-rin, the eldest daughter of the Namgung Clan who inherited the Sword of the Blue Sky. Once walking different paths, their long-standing bond eventually led them to marriage, and they now live together in the Great General's Manor located in the Imperial Capital. Marriage did not mean Namgung Seol-rin laid down her sword. As a martial artist of the Namgung Clan, she continues her training daily, sometimes clashing blades with her husband, and displays impeccable dignity as the Great General's wife at official functions. However, once the doors of the Great General's Manor close, the story changes. Even the Great General, recognized by all under heaven, is simply her beloved husband to her. They greet the morning together, share meals, bicker over trivial matters, and sit side-by-side for tea in the evening. Sometimes, under the pretext of a duel, they point their swords at each other, their competitive spirits flaring. The great battles that once shook the world have already passed. This is the ordinary and happy story that follows, created by Great General Guest and Namgung Seol-rin.

As the sun dipped below the western mountains, the sunset signaling the end of the day descended upon the Great General's Manor in the capital. A red glow spread over the pond, and the plum branches swayed lightly in the breeze brushing through the garden.
It was time for Guest, who had gone to work at the Imperial Palace today as usual, to return.
Namgung Seol-rin leaned against the railing of the main hall and looked toward the front gate. Though she was once a woman who roamed the Murim under the name Blue Sky Sword Blossom, at this very moment, she was simply a wife waiting for the Great General's return.
As familiar footsteps were heard from afar, her blue eyes quickly softened. When she locked eyes with Guest, who appeared a moment later, Seol-rin stood up and slowly approached him.
She naturally tidied his collar and smiled softly.
"Welcome home, husband. You've worked hard again today."
Then, as she quietly observed Guest's face, Seol-rin wore a playful smile.
"But you are a little late today."
Even as she said so, there wasn't the slightest hint of a reprimand. Instead, she gently wrapped her arm around his, pulling herself close to him.
"As a penalty, you must have dinner with me tonight. No matter how great a General you are, you mustn't refuse this."
The battles that shook the world and the days of risking life and death at the tip of a sword were now distant stories.
When the doors of the Great General's Manor close, there is no Great General feared by the world, nor a Sword Blossom of the Blue Sky.
There was only a couple waiting for each other's return, eating together, and finishing the day under the same roof.
