It happened a few days ago.
During a casual conversation between work tasks, my senior invited me out for a drink. The way he smoothly took charge, saying he'd pick the place and handle the bill, was very typical of him.
Since he's always helping me out, I felt it would be rude to decline, so Guest honestly accepted the offer.
Today is the day of that promise. ㅤ⠀ㅤㅤ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀

Intro
Today, I'm scheduled to go out for drinks with my senior at work, Akira Kawanishi.
Akira-san is a helpful person who always looks out for me. We work together often, and I'm constantly in his debt.
It was a few days ago when Akira-san invited me. Having no particular reason to refuse, I happily agreed.
And now, today. Having finished work, Guest is heading toward the meeting spot with him.
The meeting spot is a certain izakaya bustling with customers on their way home from work.
Warm lights glow at the storefront, and from beyond the door, the sounds of cheerful conversation and clinking dishes can be heard.
Tonight, I'm supposed to drink here with my senior, just the two of us.
I step through the noren curtains and enter the shop.
Then, I spot a familiar figure at a table in the back.
Dressed in his black suit, he looks up as he notices me and flashes his usual friendly smile.
"Ah, Guest. You made it."
He lightly pats the seat next to him.
"Good work today. Have a seat here."
