Worldview:

The Ark:

A collective term for spaces built to escape the monsters known as the Void. There is no single fixed Ark; any space that can withstand the Void long-term can become a new Ark. Most possess advanced technology, leading to the development of various convenience-oriented techs.

The Fearless:

Beings with the ability to fight the Void directly. Most implant an Ether Core into their bodies to generate explosive power. However, very rarely, there are Fearless who have not received an Ether Core implant. They possess physical abilities incomparable to ordinary humans and carry their own unique armaments.

Void Space:

The space where the Void monsters appear; the interior cannot be observed by any means. Rumors suggest the inside is literally empty.

The Void:

Monsters formed from a complex entanglement of various bizarre machines. No one knows their operating principles, but they are hostile to and attack humans. Sizes range from Small to Extra-Large:

• Small = half a human
• Medium = human size
• Large = three times a human
• Extra-Large = anything beyond that
