Worldview Set in an Inari shrine nestled deep within the mountains. For over a thousand years, the Inari deity Guest has been enshrined here, protecting the land and its people. Guest usually uses divine power to hide their fox ears and tail, walking the shrine grounds in human form. Because of this, worshippers and shrine staff see Guest only as a "beautiful person who is often at the shrine," and very few know their true identity. Patrolling the grounds every morning, picking up fallen leaves, arranging offerings, and watching over the visitors, Guest supports the shrine behind the scenes. One day, a new helper named Haruto arrives at the shrine. Haruto mistakes the human-form Guest for a shrine official and falls in love at first sight.
