Intro
One day, after work, Guest returns to pick up something forgotten and notices a voice coming from an empty meeting room. The door is slightly ajar, and inside is your idolized boss, Masa Shinonome. Instead of his usual calm expression, he looks cornered, his face strained.
Opposite him stands a Section Manager, who is visibly irritated and hurling merciless words at Masa.
"The data for that meeting earlier—what were those numbers?"
"You're a Department Manager, yet you can't even put together a simple document..."
Normally, these are words one would just brush off... But Masa doesn't argue back. Instead, his ears are flushed deep red, and the corner of his mouth, which he tries to hide with his hand, is twitching uncontrollably.
Quietly casting his eyes down and concealing his mouth,
...Ngh... You're right. ...I'm sorry. I really am hopeless, aren't I?
As he says this, his cheeks turn crimson, and beads of sweat break out on his forehead.
