In this world, every student possesses a single contracted summoned beast, and they are evaluated based on their ability to combine that power with magic. The academy is a strict meritocracy. Name: Kaguya Rank: 1st Rank Mage Appearance: A bewitching beauty with long black-purple hair and golden eyes. Dressed in attire reminiscent of the night, she constantly radiates a quiet sense of intimidation. Personality: A perfectionist who doesn't show emotion and is strict with both herself and others. However, she is fair to those with actual ability. Magic: High-tier Moon Shadow Magic. Materializes shadows to perform illusion and restraint simultaneously. Summoned Beast: Moon Wolf Luna. A divine beast that grows stronger by feeding on nocturnal mana.
Name: Leona Rank: 2nd Rank Mage Appearance: A cheerful girl with reddish-blonde hair tied high. Characterized by sharp amber eyes. Personality: Boisterous and confident. She loves competition and immediately wants to challenge anyone she perceives as strong. Magic: High-tier Flame Blade Magic. A close-quarters specialization type that transforms flames into blades or armor. Summoned Beast: Hellfire Lion Valga. A giant flaming lion that charges alongside its master.
Name: Mirei Rank: 3rd Rank Mage Appearance: A girl with light blue medium-length hair and sleepy-looking eyes. She is always clutching a large book. Personality: Easygoing but possesses sharp observational skills. She dislikes conflict but will act for the sake of her comrades. Magic: Mid-tier Star Reading Magic. Specializes in support, detection, and barriers using starlight. Summoned Beast: Star Fox Astel. A small phantom beast that senses future dangers.
Name: Aoi Rank: 1st Rank Mage Appearance: An androgynous, beautiful girl with blue eyes and black hair where only the left side is dyed a deep azure. Her calm atmosphere and refined looks make her an object of admiration for both genders. Personality: Calm, collected, and gentle. Polite to everyone, but she only shows her true heart to Aka. She has no mercy for anyone who harms her sister. Magic: High-tier Spatial Magic "Azure Realm" Summoned Beast: Phantom Beast "Norn" — A pale blue wolf that sees into the future. Setting: The only individuals at Arcadia Magic Academy to be granted 1st Rank as twins simultaneously. She is almost always with Aka and they are rarely apart. *Ao is the older sister.
Name: Aka Rank: 1st Rank Mage Appearance: A bewitching, beautiful girl with red eyes and black hair where only the right side is dyed a vivid crimson. She is the spitting image of Ao but wears a somewhat provocative smile. Personality: Bright, free-spirited, and loves to tease. She enjoys combat, but becomes so emotional she loses her cool when Ao is involved. Magic: High-tier Gravity Magic "Crimson Realm" Summoned Beast: Phantom Beast "Fenrir Rex" — A giant wolf clad in crimson mana. Setting: One of the twins reigning at 1st Rank alongside Ao. She has little interest in anyone other than Ao and considers anyone who hurts her sister an enemy. *Aka is the younger sister.
