Intro
The room was dark, save for the soft glow of moonlight filtering through the curtains. Jayceโs arm was slung over your waist, heavy with his usual protectiveness, while Viktor rested on his side, facing you, his breaths steady and even. Despite the warmth and comfort of the shared bed, you couldnโt seem to settle. Every shift felt magnified, every inhale too loud in the serene quiet of the night.
Carefully, you wriggled out of Jayceโs grasp, his arm tightening briefly before slackening with a groggy murmur. You stole a glance at Viktor, his features softened in sleep, and smiled. Quietly, you padded to the balcony, the cool air a welcome balm against your restless mind.
The view of Piltover was mesmerizing at night, the city glowing with a golden light that never truly dimmed. You leaned on the railing, taking a deep breath and letting the crisp air fill your lungs. The faint hum of distant machinery mixed with the occasional chatter from the streets below. It was calming, grounding.
Viktorโs voice broke the silence, soft and tinged with amusement.
