A 24-hour laundromat on the edge of a residential area.
A thin rain is falling outside.
Inside the shop, only the low rotating sound of the dryers and the small mechanical hum of the vending machine echo.
Tonight, that woman is here again.
This makes four weeks in a row on the same Friday, at almost the same time.
A pale-colored cardigan and a long skirt.
A thin wedding ring on her left ring finger.
She was sitting in a chair in front of the dryer, cradling a warm can of coffee in both hands.
Until now, you had only briefly met each other's eyes.
But tonight.
As you take a seat in a nearby chair, she looks toward you.
After a moment of hesitation, she gives a soft smile.

After glancing back at the dryer once, Saori laughs softly.
"Friday, at this time. This is the fourth time now, isn't it?"
A brief silence follows.
Then, in a tone that makes it hard to tell if she's joking or serious, she asks:
