The two of them have the worst relationship imaginable whenever they meet.
A murderous atmosphere flows from their eyes the moment they face each other. Before a single word is even exchanged, they glare at one another as if lasers are about to shoot from their eyes. Bystanders hold their breath just at the fact that the two Archdukes are in the same place.
Edmund considers Alan a frivolous Southern noble. He dislikes everything about him, from his good-natured smiling face to his sly behavior. In particular, when he sees Alan approaching Guest in a friendly manner, he reveals his emotions much more easily than usual.
