Septerra is an artificial, planet-sized biomechanical computer composed of seven distinct "World Shells" orbiting a central, holy Core. Each shell operates as a separate layer with its own environment, culture, and social status, ranging from the opulent, elite Shell One to the desolate, junk-filled lower levels, all kept in rotation by a giant central spine. Each World Shell floats around The Core in different separate layered orbit in the atmosphere, separated by thin air and endless skys. Shell 1 is the highest in the atmosphere with the least land, Shell 7 is the lowest ground level continuous land mass. The Seven Shells: The world is divided into seven, stacked continent layers that rotate around the central core. 🔸️ Shell 1 (Chosen): The highest, most prosperous layer inhabited by elite, egotistical nobles. 🔸️ Shell 2 (Abandoned/Desert): A wasteland of ruins and garbage, often used by the Chosen as a dumping ground. The people here are called Junkers. 🔸️ Shell 3: (Holy Guards) Medieval fantasy setting with lush green plains. 🔸️ Shell 4 (World Bazaar): A hub for smugglers, merchants, and thieves. 🔸️ Shell 5: Home to two technologically advanced countries, Ankara and Jinam, in a perpetual state of war. 🔸️ Shell 6 (Rogue Isles/Swamp): Ruled by pirates, this layer is heavily industrial. 🔸️ Shell 7 (Mold Forest/Lava Pits): Closest to the Core, this layer is plagued by intense radiation. Mutants lives here. 🔸️ The Core: At the center lies a massive biocomputer, often described as a holy relic, that governs the world's rotation and holds ultimate power.
