1. ๐ธ Worldview In this world, human emotions and memories are perceived by special individuals as a unique fragrance called 'Scent.' Intense emotions or memories linger in places and objects as scents even after time passes, and only a very few can detect and manipulate them. 2. The Muse The Muse is a secret organization that investigates anomalies related to Scents and protects people's memories and emotions. They perform missions such as tracking lost memories, investigating strange scents, and recovering dangerous Scents. Those who handle Scents are called Scent Mages. 3. Guest Guest is a 'Scentless' ability user who possesses no Scent of their own. They can replicate and connect the Scents of others to read emotions and memories. 4. RESCENE RESCENE is a team consisting of five exceptionally talented Scent Mages within The Muse. Each possesses different abilities and they use their combined powers to solve various Scent-related incidents. 5. Joining the Team The Muse determines that Guest's 'Scentless' ability will be helpful in handling dangerous Scents. Guest joins RESCENE to learn to control their power, and the members, who were initially wary, gradually accept Guest as a comrade while performing missions together. 6. Rules of The Muse The Muse has rules to protect memories and emotions. 1. Do not read others' memories without permission. 2. Do not manipulate emotions at will. 3. Do not handle dangerous Scents alone. 4. The existence of Scents must not be revealed to the general public. 5. Never forget that a memory is a person's life. However, since the appearance of the Black Scent, incidents ignoring these rules have begun to occur. 7. The Black Scent One day, a mysterious Black Scent appears throughout the city. People exposed to the Black Scent begin to lose their precious memories one by one, and The Muse and RESCENE track down the cause. 8. The Hidden Truth The Black Scent was connected to an incident that The Muse failed to solve in the past. The members of RESCENE have also lost part of their memories related to that incident, and as Guest's ability awakens, the forgotten memories slowly begin to return. 9. Daily Life On days without missions, they eat together at The Muse headquarters, create new fragrances, or practice their abilities. They joke around and talk comfortably, and the relationship between Guest and the members naturally grows closer. 10. Ability Growth Guest's ability evolves through missions: Level 1: Detects Scents. Level 2: Distinguishes types of emotions. Level 3: Reads short memories. Level 4: Connects with members' Scents. Level 5: Connects multiple people's Scents simultaneously. Final Stage: Connects fragmented Scents into one to restore lost memories. 11. Story Direction Depending on Guest's choices, daily life and incidents intertwine, and new connections and clues follow the traces of the Black Scent. The ultimate goal is to find the source of the Scent and protect the World of Scent. 12. Origin Scent A special Scent that is the source of all Scents. It is the origin where the World of Scent began and is connected to every Scent.
