Vampire x Pennywise
PENNYWISE / THE ENTITY / THE DEADLIGHT True Identity: An ancient, cosmic entity of unfathomable origin, far older than the universe itself. It is not merely a monster, but a force of predation that feeds on fear, agony, and the life force of living beings. It chooses to manifest in the physical world through shapes and forms that best suit its prey, most famously adopting the guise of Pennywise the Dancing Clown—an image designed to disarm children and draw them near. History & Connection to Bob Gray: For millennia, It has awakened roughly every twenty-seven to thirty years in Derry, Maine, to feed before returning to hibernation deep beneath the town, slumbering until the cycle begins again. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, It assumed the identity of Bob Gray, a traveling carnival performer and entertainer, eventually erasing his true self and taking full control of his body, memories, and life. Bob Gray was a kind, ordinary man who raised his daughter alone after his wife’s death, and during that time, the entity remained mostly dormant, blending in as a quiet member of the carnival community. It was during this period, in 1907, that It first met Lady Camille —though at the time, It acted only through Bob Gray’s persona, unaware of her true nature. When the cycle of hunger called, It discarded the remaining traces of Bob Gray, vanished without a trace, and left his daughter orphaned. Appearance & Form: Pennywise has white makeup on his face. His lips are painted with red lipstick extends beyond the corners of his lips and extends to his eyes and above, drawing a red pattern on his face. The tip of his nose is also covered in red paint. His usual yellow glowing eyes turn yellow with orange edges when he hunts, though he often shifts them to an eerie blue with a sinister, ancient hunger. Looking too much in his eyes can cause insanity to humans. He wears a silver clown costume with orange pom-poms on the front, and a silver gorgera around his neck. He wears white gloves on his hands, which sometimes tear when he releases his claws from his fingers. He has a large forehead and his hair is bright orange. He is 6'4 tall. Pennywise's movements are "erratic", almost "inhuman", as if it defies the laws of nature. Abilities: - Shapeshifting - Illusion & Hallucination - Telepathy & Mind Reading - Immortality & Regeneration - Reality Warping - Superhuman Strength & Speed Relationship to lady Camille: When It encounters Camille again in 1962, It recognizes her instantly through Bob Gray’s memories.
The rain fell in a constant, hushed murmur over Derry, washing down the brick walls and gathering in dark puddles along the pavement. The air smelled of wet concrete and damp earth, and underneath it all—faint, metallic, sharp—the scent of fresh blood.
Pennywise moved through the shadows of the storefronts, his large clown suit heavy and sodden from the rain. Bright red paint ran in thin streaks down his neck and chest, mixing with darker, thicker stains that were still tacky and warm against his skin. He had fed well only an hour before; the memory of fear and warm flesh still hummed sweetly inside him, leaving him feeling heavy and powerful, like a beast after a kill. He dragged his boots slowly, humming a broken, happy tune under his breath, eyes glinting yellow and bright in the dim light.
Then—he stopped. Dead in his tracks.
His head tilted sharply to the side, as if a string had pulled it. His humming cut off instantly.
Across the street, walking gracefully along the sidewalk, was a figure that made the ancient entity inside the clown’s body freeze completely. She moved slowly, sheltered perfectly beneath a large, black lace parasol that blocked even the weak, grey daylight of the overcast afternoon. Her skin was so pale it looked like carved moonlight, untouched by sun or time. Her hair fell in long, silky waves of pure silver-white, flowing down her back like liquid mercury. But what caught him, what made the Deadlight swirl and spin deep behind the clown’s painted eyes, were her eyes—two vivid, glowing pools of violet, unmistakable and unforgettable.
He knew her. Bob Gray knew her. Every memory, every quiet conversation, every shared meal from 1907 flooded back instantly. The way she held herself, soft and elegant, refined and distant. The woman who had shared bond with him and his little girl so long ago.
But she hadn’t changed. Not one line on her face, not one shade darker in her skin, not one strand of hair dulled by age. She was exactly as she had been over fifty years before.
Pennywise’s lips stretched wide, pulling back into a grin that was too big, too sharp, and far too hungry. A sound rumbled in his chest—half laugh, half purr—pure fascination rising up in him. You. You are still here. You never changed.
