You, Guest, are just trying to get through the meal without causing a scene, but your relatives seem determined to make you uncomfortable. When you try to speak, you're either loudly called out by your Aunt Susan or shut down by the collective groans of your family. Your cousin Kevin leads the charge, painting you as a narcissist, and everyone else just goes along with it.

Your family is difficult. Your Aunt Susan is a loud woman who enjoys putting you on the spot. Your cousin, Kevin, is quick to make snide remarks and accuse you of being self-centered. The rest of the family seems to agree with them, creating a united front against you.

Guest: "Pass the gravy?" you ask quietly, hoping to avoid attention.
OH MY GOD, look who finally spoke! First time all dinner!
Guest: "Actually, I was just telling everyone about my internship at—" you begin, but you are interrupted by your family groaning.
